Custom Fabrication

We are capable of producing a wide variety of designs. We have lathe and mill tooling, as well as TIG welding and plasma cutting. No job is too small- Unlike larger fabrication houses which won't touch small "one-off" jobs, this is the kind of thing that we specialize in. If you have a need for something, and it doesn't exist anywhere else, let us bring it to life for you. We can send products out for final finishing- powdercoating, anodizing, chrome plating on an as-needed basis. If you can imagine it, we can build it.

Examples of our custom work:

Rocket Plate 1 - An internal support plate for a 13' tall rocket. 8" diameter, 3/4" thick, 12 evenly-spaced radial mounting holes (tapped), 6 evenly-spaced internal ventilation holes (which maximize plate strength by not conflicting with mounting holes), central parachute mounting hole. (we also drilled and countersunk the holes on the rocket fuselage)

Rocket Plate 2 - An internal support plate for a 13' tall rocket. 8" diameter, 1/2" thick, 4 evenly-spaced radial mounting holes (tapped), center machined thinner than edge for weight savings, two holes for mounting internal components. (we also drilled and countersunk the holes on the rocket fuselage)

Rocket Launch Tower - A tower for launching the 13' tall rocket. Designed and fabricated by KC MetalCraft, the tower supports over 600 pounds, disassembles for easy transport, has leveling feet to ensure proper launch trajectory on unlevel ground, adjusts for different rocket diameters, and the entire upper superstructure hinges over for ease of loading rockets. (note our logo on the rocket!)

Porsche 944 Oil Pickup Modification - Added steel ring around pickup screen. This ensures that the pump is not starved when oil shifts in the oil pan during hard acceleration or turns. The ring is TIG welded around the entire periphery guaranteeing that the oil pump cannot draw air between the ring and pickup body.
